High Definition Video Conferencing, wow that’s amazing. I found a great write up on the features and functionality of the Polycom TPX HD 306M from IVCI. Some of the features are below, you would obviously have to see the High Definition to believe it. However, not sure I want to see coworkers in high def – haha. Below is a picture of just one possible configuration.

The high definition telepresence provides a real-life experience. From their site “We’ve combined the best of our audio, video and collaboration technologies into a single, easy-to-use, reliable solution. The Polycom TPX HD 306M has, as its core, Polycom HDX high definition Ultimate HD visual communications solutions that offer unmatched HD video, HD voice and HD content quality. In third party side-by-side comparisons, Polycom HD video ranked first in audio quality, video quality, interoperability, performance and content sharing over all other comparable HD products1. Polycom has a solid reputation as a video communications company with the largest installed base of systems — over half a million video endpoints deployed — and ten years experience in design and research and development. We are the telepresence experts.
The telepresence experience we deliver for you is effortless. Your meetings are scheduled and managed by the Telepresence Video Network Operations Center (VNOC) that uses a unique combination of people, tools, and processes to deliver an exceptional end user telepresence experience.
When considering whether to replace in person meetings and save money on air fare and other travel, the high definition telepresence makes a very compelling argument.
“Understanding how video conferencing work primarily depends on the willingness of the person to adapt to changes. If you
think that your employee is not into understanding it, it will be better not to train him or her because it will only be a waste of time.”
This blog Is very informative , I am really pleased to post my comment on this blog . It helped me with ocean of knowledge so I really belive you will do much better in the future . Good job web master .
I am the developer of a software called ScreenCamera that allows users to stream the desktop inside video chatting programs and websites such as Skype, Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Messenger, blogTV, Justin.tv, Mogulus, and so on.
ScreenCamera has a free version that streams the desktop without any cost or any limitation. The paid version supports webcams allowing to users to stream desktop and webcam together and also use the webcam on multiple programs at the same time.
It is a free desktop sharing program that has the only downside of having to shrink the desktop to 320×240 pixels that is the resolution most video chatting programs and websites use. It makes up for it allowing the user to follow the cursor or select regions of the desktop and by not interfering with the live video chatting.
